Import Control System 2 (ICS2)

The new ICS2 requirements came into effect on 1st March 2023 which helps to manage the advance safety and security risk analysis for all goods entering the European Union via air. These new requirements apply to all cargo and mail with a destination within, or transiting via the EU.

For your shipments with Virgin Atlantic Cargo destined for an EU station, this requirement is not applicable as cargo will be entering the EU via RFS. In 2024, this same requirement will be applicable for goods moving into the EU via RFS and we will communicate any further changes required where applicable.
