Breaking barriers - The wonderful women of Virgin Atlantic Cargo
Posted: 25th February, 2022
To mark International Women's Day (IWD) we are celebrating a few of the many inspirational women working for Virgin Atlantic Cargo. As an organisation we strive to maintain an environment where gender provides no limitation over opportunity or progression, where diversity and differences are valued and celebrated. Incredible women work in all areas of our business, at all levels - we've asked some of them to tell us about their roles at Virgin Atlantic Cargo, their love of logistics and their thoughts on the progression of women's equality in the industry.
International Women's Day is a global event which takes place annually on 8th March, celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality and raising awareness against bias.
